Last Updated: July 5th, 2026Parlours Partner's Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Parlours Partner mobile application (the "App") as a Service Provider. By registering or offering services through the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering as a Service Provider on the Parlours Partner App, you agree to comply with these Terms and any additional policies that may apply to specific services. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and ParloursBooking ("We," "Us," "Our").

ParloursBooking acts solely as a technology platform that facilitates the booking of salon and personal care services between customers and independent service providers or parlours. ParloursBooking does not own, manage, operate, or control any listed service provider, and is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of services rendered. Disputes regarding service delivery must be resolved directly between the customer and the Service Provider. By using the App, you acknowledge that ParloursBooking is not a party to any service agreement between you and the customer.

2. Registration and Service Listing

  • 2.1 Account Creation: To offer services through the Parlours Partner App, you must create an account, providing accurate and up-to-date information about your business, including legal business details, pricing, service descriptions, and working hours.
  • 2.2 Eligibility Requirements: To register as a Service Provider, you must:
    • Be a legally registered business in Sri Lanka
    • Hold valid licenses and certifications for all services you offer
    • Submit all relevant business and identity documents for verification

3. Account Maintenance and Service Standards

  • You must provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must update your service availability, pricing, and business information regularly.

3.1 Service Listing and Availability

You are responsible for ensuring that services listed in your profile are accurate and available per the provided schedule. ParloursBooking reserves the right to review and remove any misleading or inappropriate listings.

3.2 Service Quality and Standards

Maintain professional standards in delivering services, ensure a hygienic and safe service environment, and follow all applicable laws and industry regulations.

4. Bookings & Cancellations

All bookings made through the App are binding and must be honored. Service Providers may only cancel bookings in emergency situations and must provide prior notice to both the customer and ParloursBooking. In such cases, a cancellation fee may be charged or deducted from the Service Provider's future payouts as a penalty. Repeated cancellations may lead to further disciplinary action, including temporary suspension or permanent account deactivation.

4.1 Finality of Bookings

All bookings made through the ParloursBooking App are final, non-cancellable, and non-transferable, unless explicitly stated otherwise within the App or by ParloursBooking. Service Providers and Customers are expected to honor all confirmed appointments.

Service Providers are responsible for clearly indicating on their profile and service listings whether they serve male, female, or all clients. Once a booking is confirmed based on this listed information, it is considered final.

4.2 Late Arrivals & No-Shows

If a customer is late, they may receive a shortened service or be asked to rebook at their own cost. Service Providers must also be on time and prepared to deliver services as scheduled. Repeated no-shows or delays by Service Providers may lead to suspension or penalties.

5. Payments and Fees

All payments for services booked through the App will be processed securely via WebXPay. You agree to accept payments through this platform and comply with its terms.

  • A commission fee will be deducted from each transaction as per ParloursBooking's pricing policy. You will receive the remaining amount directly to your designated payment account.
  • Payouts to Service Providers will be processed on a scheduled basis as outlined in the ParloursBooking payment policy.
  • All payouts are subject to successful payment completion by the customer through the App's integrated payment gateway. ParloursBooking is not liable for delays in fund transfers caused by external payment processors, banks, or financial institutions.
  • Service Providers are responsible for ensuring that their payout account details are accurate and up to date.

6. Refunds & Disputes

You are not authorized to issue refunds directly to customers. Refunds will not be granted if the service was delivered but did not meet subjective expectations. Refund eligibility is based on a full case review; if approved, the refunded amount will be deducted from your upcoming payouts. Repeated refund cases or failure to meet service standards may lead to account suspension. All refund requests must be handled through ParloursBooking support.

7. Pricing & Transparency

Your service pricing must be clearly stated and inclusive of all fees. Service Providers are not allowed to charge more than what is shown on the App unless disclosed in advance and approved by the customer. Promotions and discounts offered in the App must be honored.

8. Responsibilities of Service Providers

  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
  • Ensure staff are available and prepared to deliver services on time.
  • Do not photograph or video customers without their explicit prior approval.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of any customer data shared through the App and use it only for service fulfillment.

Any reports of misconduct, poor service quality, or unprofessional behavior may lead to account suspension or termination.

9. Additional Policies

  • Maintain hygiene, professionalism, and comply with applicable laws and ethical standards at all times.
  • Once a booking is confirmed, modifications are not permitted except in special cases approved by ParloursBooking.
  • Misuse of the platform for fraudulent activities or fake bookings is strictly prohibited; customer data must be securely stored and used only for service purposes.
  • Fraudulent activities, including fake reviews or misrepresentation, will result in immediate suspension.
  • ParloursBooking reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts due to policy violations, fraud, or poor service quality.

10. Liabilities and Disclaimers

  • ParloursBooking is not responsible for any disputes, damages, or losses resulting from your services.
  • Registration as a Service Provider on the Parlours Partner App does not guarantee bookings or revenue.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold ParloursBooking harmless from any claims or damages arising from your services.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions

ParloursBooking reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Service Provider Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the rules and procedures for cancellations, rescheduling, and missed appointments for Service Providers registered on the Parlours Partner App.

  • Once a booking is confirmed, cancellations are only allowed in emergencies. If a cancellation is necessary, immediately notify the customer and ParloursBooking Support.
  • Service Providers must be punctual. Repeated lateness or no-shows may result in suspension.
